Yoon-Ju Oh, a pianist with one of the most active performing careers in Korea, graduated from the Hochschule fur Musik Würzburg in Germany with a Diplom mit Auszeichnung (Diploma of Honor) at the age of 20, she entered the Hochschule Mozarteum Salzburg in Austria to continue her piano studies with reknowned Prof. Karl-Heinz Kammerling and chamber music studies with Prof. Alfons Kontarsky.

She won the first prizes at the international competitions such as the Würzburg Musikalische Akademie Competition, the Citta di Marsala International Piano Competition in Italy, laureat at the International Competition Maria Canals: in Bercelona, Spain, both in piano and duo sections, the Brahms Competition in Austria, the Sanremo Classico International Piano Competition in Italy. She has also won the audition at the Hofer Symphoniker in Germany where she performed as a soloist.


Since Ms. Oh made her Concert Debut with Incheon Philharmonic Orchestra at the age of 13, she has given numerous solo recitals as well as duo and chamber music recitals all over Europe and Korea including a Debut Recital at the Carnegie Recital Hall in New York. She was chosen to perform with Major Orchestras in Korea such as Korean Symphony Orchestra, Suwon Philharmonic Orchestra, Busan Philharmonic Orchestra, Jeonju Philharmonic Orchestra, Seoul Arts Center Festival Orchstra, Seoul Chamber Orchestra. With Prime Philharmonic Orchestra she toured 14 cities in Korea. She has also performed at the Seoul Arts Center IBK Chamber Hall Opening Festival, Seoul Arts Center Classic Star Series, the Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival, Cesky Krumlov Festival, Chamber Music Festival in Gex, France as well as DeiàInternational Music Festival in Mallorca, Spain. Several of her performances have been broadcasted by the Bayerischen Rundfunk(Bavarian Radio), NDR (North German Radio) and Radio Suisse Romande.


Yoon Ju Oh is also a passionate chamber music player. As a member of Koreana chamber Music Society and "Trio Thalia", one of the most recognized piano trios in Korea, she has given many chamber music concerts including Brahms 7 complete Duo Sonatas in 1 Day, Beethoven complete piano trios, Beethoven complete works for Cello and Piano, Mozart complete Violin Sonatas.

She is currently a professor at Sungshin University in Seoul, Guest Professor at Pontlevoy International Music Academy, Courchevel International Summer Academy in France and Euro Music Festival in Germany.
